in a short bit we will have some high rez pics on a sweet looknig map and also the reason the map looks bland is becouse it is just a test map for testing out the rocket turret building.

    Not bad, but I still have to express my worry: Are you guys covering all your bases? I'm just hoping that it'll get balanced, and that the interface in the 3d world gets better- its a bit lackin now.

    btw, are those jugg guys going to be the final units or will you be getting your own? they're way too complex for RTS, I'd say.

    And dont worry when the mod is done it is going to be balanced, also the interface is not dont yet there are a lot of buttons missing from it we have not gotten in yet.

    And to answer your question the mod has moved to UT2k4 and we are working on it only under UT2k4.

    For it being grasslands, thats pretty Desert-y.

    Otherwise, it looks good and all, but too much of a jail type thing in bottom left. I'd also stick in some things that are a bigger deal strategy wise.

    i don't know the scale but so far it looks a little small for an RTS map supposing i'm right about the size of the bridges. how many units can fit across their width?

    First there is grass on that map you just cant see it from that high up also as I said in my above post I am still textureing the map so there is still the sand texture on.

    And this map is big and plays really well about two larg tanks and drive across the bridges at once next to each other.

    still, that seems just a little bit small...maybe it's just my lack of RTS experience. afterall, Age of empires 2 is the only RTS I've really gotten into.

    now I'm going to go cry because my rounter doesn't let me play age of empires anymore. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    edit: how many players will be playing on that map?

    Also to give you a better idea of scale look at the mini map and where these units and and buidings are.

    As you can see they dont even take up all the terrain that is open for buildings and the units are little smaller dots next to the sligtly biffer dots
