  The trigger is having most of the team dead in a short amount of time of each other, but it dosn't increase spawn rates.

  most likely a server plugin triggered by admins to prevent you from getting spawn camped

  That increased spawn rate sounds something like <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=71783' target='_blank'>hive overload</a>, which I would like to see in the game. But it was propably some plugin that caused the faster spawning.

  actually the sound is one of the easter eggs, but the spawning faster is most assuredly a plugin

  Yeh I've notised alot of servers using plug-ins to change the spawn system, mainly back to the wave spawning. I think its better than 1 at a time spawning but not the best way.
