<div class="IPBDescription">Make just about *everything* bindable!</div> Okay, I posted this once before, and got no response, so I decided I'd try again (hey, it took a long time to make <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> )
Anyway, I went though and found all of the commands for the in-game speech, building, and commander commands. I didn't use anything but trial-and-error to do it, which is what took so long. But no h4x here.
Anyway, the list enables you to not only have fast(er) access to the voice messages, but also lets commanders be much faster (you can bind the equivalent of clicking on the medpack button to a key, meaning you can drop five of them in a row with near-zero delay)
(well, wait, you could do that anyway. But now you can make aliases, too <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->)
Anyway, here you go:

I'll be using this <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
no more sitting at spawn, going
*click* evolve carapce
*click* evolve regen
and best of all
*click* accidentally place down a defensive chamber ontop of that resouce pipe <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->
thanks!
By the way, I realize now that a few Commander build commands are missing. They're probably THERE, I just don't know what number they are (I found all of the ones in there now through the in-halflife bind-keys menu, and I have all of the ones in that menu). Feel free to try other numbers and see if you can get it to do what you want it to.

Thanks! That's really useful.
Oh, and for Aliens, impulse 1 doesn't seem to do jack squat. I edited my config.cfg file and changed the Mouse wheel commands to:
bind "MWHEELDOWN" "invprev"
bind "MWHEELUP" "invnext"
That way, next weapon now works for Aliens.
bind "MWHEELDOWN" "invprev"
bind "MWHEELUP" "invnext"
That way, next weapon now works for Aliens.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Well, I knew that -- note the "?" in the Alien column there.
The reason, though, is that the marines have a popup menu option for "next weapon" (right right, I think), and the aliens don't.
But you're right, invprev/invnext work great. Now if only lastinv worked <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->
Is there any %-variables in NS? Like AHL has %l for location, TFC has %h and %a for health and armour and %i for last seen player.
I think NS already has support for these and especially some variable to get your location in messages would be useful.
bind x "say_team I'm pinned down at %l and %i is teasing, I NEED BACKUP! [%h health] [%a armour]"
Would print something like:
"(Team) peak: I'm pinned down at horseshoe and The_BigBad_Player is teasing me, I NEED BACKUP! [23 health] [0 armour]"
Does anyone know what the console command for the ready room is?
<!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> thanks.

Just because it deserves page one.
I've checked pretty much all of the hotkey commands for one that did this, and I didn't find one. I didn't think to try impulse, though...
(or wait, did I? >_<)
Either way, I've yet to find one.

Nonono, that one just PLACES a command console, not exits it <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
i.e P in alien config switches to marine
P in marine config switches to commander
P in commander switches to gorge
etc.
And I'd like an echo when doing it stating wich config I'm currently using so I don't get lost and **obscenity** up while doing stuff.
This list helps GREATLY in creating those different cfgs. Thanks a bunch.

like that <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
My "victory dance" as a commander is basically the same thing. When we're taking out the last hive and have 400+ resources or something, I start spamming health. I drop hundreds of them all over the hive, like fireworks. Then I do about a hundred scanner sweeps in the span of 10 seconds.... all the while laughing maniacly over the mic, screaming, "<b>HEALTH FOR EVERYONE!!! AAAHAHAHAHAH!</b>"
