I can't remember if I linked you guys to this video several months ago when I first found it, but I was helping my roomate back up his hard drive due to some virus crap his family put on his computer during a 5 minute visit last week, and I ran across it again.

    I think the 50's had WAYYYYYY better prevention videos (or at least the parodies I've seen of them are pretty awesome).


    I have a much shorter version that would have worked better.


    Little Jimmy puts in the floppy, hits ok when it asks if he wants to copy, and the computer monitor blows up. Killing him, that girl, and a puppy who forgot to duck and cover.

    This is an absolutel classic of the internet, at one point I watched this enough so that I could do about 5 minutes of the rap (complete with drume affests), but now I can only remember the first couple verses. Fun Fact: The guy who does the rapping goes by the name of M E Hart, and he is now a lawyer, and he does NOT answer fan mail.

    A while ago i thought i'd track down the mysterious DP. First i got his name, from the credits, so i put it into imdb and found <a href='http://imdb.com/name/nm0366420/' target='_blank'>this</a>. And what's this i got from google? ME Hart works as the Vice President of Organizational Performance for Strategic Interactions, Inc. Go check out their staff page <a href='http://www.strategicinteractions.com/pages/who/bios.html' target='_blank'>here</a>, scroll down and look for "ME Hart - Attorney At Law". It's DP, it looks like DP, it has to be DP. Oh?     that dont copy that floppy video has some of the worst audio quality I've ever heard, I can't hear what they are saying half the time, and the music sucks too. Sry to complain, but I have a sinus headache from getting too much water up my nose yesterday swimming, and this video just made it worse. I hardly noticed it before, but now it's pounding.

    Actually, I believe it's taking into account the fact that the blast damage has a radius of like 1-2 miles, but the flash can be seen far far further than that.

    It's sort of like why you have to wear that special helmet when using an arc welder, that light can seriously mess up your eyes and skin with enough exposure.

    Similairly, some people's skin can severly mess up my eyes with even a little (indecent) exposure.
