<div class="IPBDescription">5000 ppl</div> Tomorrow im going to dreamhack the largest LAN in the world (well as they say).
Located in Jönköping sweden.

If you dont have a comp guys pay $35 for each 24 h, girls pay $15 for the entire LAN ... pretty unfare just to lure more girls in.

Anyway i payed $75 for my spot with comp, me and 4 of my buddies are going there.

Anyone have any tips or any good games to LAN with?

Btw www.dreamhack.org is their hp (swedish thou)

    Get UT2k4, the last LAN I went to that was all they played.

    Speeking of LANs, Ill be hosting a small one for a few of my friends (between 10 and 20 of us), anyone any advice other than to brake the arms of anyone who damages my house?

    Yes I do have beer, pizza numbers, carry out numbers, fish 'n' chip shop numbers, emergenccy service numbers.

    The Cyberathelete Professional League hosts the best LANs I've ever been to (though Im sure Quakecon pwns them).

    Check out a list of official games played at the world cyber games or a similar competition, it's a safe bet 90% of those will be played at the lan.

    The problem with me is that most of the people at my school that i would go to a LAN with only play console games or skateboard a lot.

    Remember to check out what are the competitions they will be having at the LAN party, maybe you and your buddies can join one.

    I am not sure about dreamhack but other major lan parties usually have sponsers that give out pretty cool stuff to people for doing silly things such as smashing your mother board or video card.
