Some guy, that i assume was a little kid like most people i dont like, called for a jp and a hmg saying "Give me JP HMG, i want to kill onos" and then he proceded to fly around marine spawn in ns_nothing until he ran out of fuel and fell down that hole and died.

A small game on caged. Marines managed to kill our hive at sewer early on and were now comming to our last hive at Generator. While they were building their sieges our Onos managed to take down the base at Marine Start before they could build another CC anywere. The last 2 Marines managed to take out our hive and the ping of death started. One of our players was gorge (with 45 res) at sewer, the area was secured by quite a lot of OCs. We screamed "build that hive! They won't make it in there! build the hive!" He jumped down into the water, built two OCs and died because of the PoD.

I did the same thing once, this was back in 1.04. I was a fade and I was in marine start slashing people. Since I suck, I was getting shot up a lot, so I tried to blink across the room... I ended up above the pit... gg.

Another time, I went to the rafters above powersilo, and I evolved to fade... and then I realized I had no way down. I jumped off the ledge, but then I was like "crap I'm gonna die" so I tried to blink back up to the rafter. A hard thing to do in 1.04. I tried to blink up to the ceiling a few times, so I never touched ground. Since I was continually in flight, I was accelerating for a much longer time. When I eventually ran out of energy, I hit the ground as if I had jumped from a height 7-9 times the height of the powersilo room. I died instantly <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' />

Once are base was getting attacked so me and a friend built a CC in a vent. And since it was a 2 on 2 the others where just Onos and wated till we came out of the vent and just digested us. Eventually a fade came in and solved the trouble by hanging over are spawn.
Good game though.

Contless times do I see skulks hang out at the bottom of elevator shafts looking for good hiding/ambushing spots, and each time I relish dropping the elevator right on them. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' />

And on a note related to elevators, one player on ns_nothing took it upon himself to block off the quad lift, the lift to generator, and the 3rd lift between the two with chambers. And since the Marines had cargo, we literally only had one passage out of viaduct and powersilo (the vent shaft near the quad lift) that less than half our team could use. The admins were gracious enough to turn on friendlyfire to allow us to trash our own structures and finally manuver about the map...soon after the server crashed. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' />

The other day, I'm scrimming and was in foreboding anti chamber putting up res. Well a fade came. I proundly blew his head off. I finished the rt and victory danced to power sile. I victory danced on to the rails. I missed the rails. GG.

I was a lerk on Nothing with no chambers (daft I know) and 1 hive. I was trying (successfully might I add) to keep the marines out of Viaduct so a hive could be dropped easily later. So I'm sitting there with about 60 hp and I see the d chamber icon blink so I fly up towards the very high walkway. I flew a bit too high but I just gestated in mid air because I "knew" the walkway was under me. Obviously not. Fell from the top of viaduct as an egg and died on hitting the ground D: Thankfully no one saw it <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' />

Hrm. Similar to the early fake story, but real. NS_Veil on NSA Classic the other day. We were pwning the marines, who had relocated to subsector, we had cargo and pipeline. We had everything BUT subsector. So marines take double, overlook, skylights, cargo, C-12 and all RTs but Marine start and Topo. This is due to the fact that the entire team rushed double over and over while marines took cargo. Well, thanks to the two sane players, we managed to take back cargo. So we hear seiges going up outside pipeline. We realize pipeline is as good as gone, because if our team can't rush two stationary RTs succesfully, how the hell can they rush a turret farm and moving marines. So there's a gorge in cargo. He has 90 res. We tell him "QUICK BUILD THE HIVE!". He's like "OMG WE'RE GONNA LOSE DCS" and spams 5 DCs and 4 OCs, and then hears the ping of death. If that wasn't dumb enough, he now proceeds to finish building the OCs before the DCs, and dies about 15 seconds later. GG retard.

Back in the day, in 1.02, (I believe) the marines were in trouble.

The map was Bast, and the Kharaa had 3 hives. This meant Onos. And not the 3.0 Paper variety.

We had skulks and lerks and a fade pestering their base, as a distraction for the real damage, waiting at the bottom of the Elevator. A teammate and I had finally finished evolving into Armor Plated Quadrupeds of Death Doom and Destruction, and were about to ascend, to strike terror into the pants of the puny humans. And then a gorge did something horrible. He pressed the wrong button. Instead of the Elevator moving, the big doors moved. We noticed too late, that those magnificent meat-wads were in the wrong place, at a very, very wrong time. All those resources, crushed between unforgiving slabs of metal.

Wow, ok stop killing the thread I am gonna go back on topic.

I think the most stupid thing I have seen done in NS would have to be one time where this guy tried to be a commander for the aliens so he tried to get everyone to gorge and then do a gorge rush.

He was basically the only one that gorged and thought everyone was following him when he was met with a swift knife death.
