<div class="IPBDescription">NS is perfectlly ballanced.</div> When the teams are even all through the game and your Alien team knows a little bit what to do and communicate about who will build and who will stalk, the Kharaa is defenetly a force not to be taken lightly.
Whe had three gorges, one for every hive smacking up layers of OC and DC and webs allover town, and soon enough we were raining acid upon the marines heads like God almighty were taking a yellow dehydrated piss.
HaHaHa... Doom Doom Dooooom, for the marines. And now you might say, well of course, the marines must have had a complete twat of a commander. To our surprise though, back in the readyroom, the marines thanked us for the game of their life so far. They had been scared out of their minds and their commander had been using commandmode frequently since the relese, so he knew how to run things.
Later that night i played marine. we had some trouble with nobody wanting to take charge. I sure as hell didnt, commanding scares the sit out of me (responsability... Arghhhh) ehh... anyway... Aliens started charging us left, right and center. This is it i thought. But somehow we manadged to break throug at one of the hives.. luckily, it was one containing all their Sensory towers, so now they cant cloak anymore. Good. After some intense struggling back and forth we manage to get the upper hand... Sad thing is, when the Aliens were down to their last hive, players started team jumping like rats from a sinking ship... too bad really.. they might have been able to fight back because they still had Defence upgrades all over, wich IMO is the most iportant one..
So there... Long story, and maby you heard it already by now.. The Aliens are defenetly quite capable warriors even though at first they seem a bit underpowerd.
Some developer said "Give it a month and they'll be back complaining the marines can never win"
I say " Marines, your number is already up"

I mean, after all, people who've played the game for months couldnt possibly know wtf they were talking about.
Glad to see your finding some enjoyment in NS now Laser.
The sheer pleasure of good Alien teamwork with fair team balance resulting in victory is the reason i love this mod.
It´s not unbalanced IMO.

I mean after playing aliens so much and then trying marines and finding how easy it was to win I couldnt believe it. But thats just my take on it....
I played aliens and first 2 games we did a skulk rush and won.
The 3rd game took 1h 21m to get the marines to die. I have no clue why people are complaining about how much its unfair.
I just pray that the next patch only fixes things and not screw them up.

The reason is that the marines multiply their resources by number of marines on the team. A 12 marine team can be equipped with HMG's before the Kharaa has even started to build their first resource tower.
