Hmm Lag?

<div class="IPBDescription">Server lag?</div> I just got the game and i only played on maby 10 - 12 server but OMG they all had lousy pings one had
500-600... and it was all the players on that server... the best server all the players had around 120 in ping... is this normal??? i think the lag makes the game imposible to enjoy.....

Is there any one from denmark in here i would like som local servers..

or just any good server. around ping 40 to 80 would be werry nice.

    good way to find the best servers is ASE (sorry I don't have a link)

    But, I have found that even on 500-600 ping servers, gameplay is smooth thanks to the wonderful netcode. The reason for the lag is a CPU utilization issue (server side). NS is very processor intensive and server optimizations will be included in a patch, along with forcing economy balance by hard coding it, fairly soon.

    Fair enough.... more servers plz link.... nice with some servers with a homepage to look on to.

    EDIT: OH! And one thing in ASE. Dont sort servers after ping, sort them after "flux". (Please correct me if im wrong, im a noob so far). Although ping says a lot, flux says more about packet loss (thats what makes the game go like you are running it on a 133 mhz computer).- So if you find a server with low ping and low flux (1-5) GO for it!

    Ive personnaly found that the best servers have 12 or less people on them. Maybe the servers can handle less people more efficiently.

    Can we get a timeframe on the patch release? If it doesn't come out reasonably soon, NS gets wiped off my hdd.
