<div class="IPBDescription">Many bugs fixed!</div> Take a look, and please test:
<a href='http://www.cri-hacks.com/damage/' target='_blank'>Check it out!</a>
The damage sim was originally done for the release of 2.0, and has been updated ever since. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo--> The newest version has fixed a ton of bugs, is much faster to use now, as it is completely object oriented instead of linear, has a totally new interface, full of pretty colors, and a new system which allows you to change weapons mid calculations; so you can see how many hits it takes to kill a fade with a pistol after connecting with 35 lv. 3 LMG shots.
This was all done by #cri.ogenics, so if there are any thanks please gave him due.
Hopefully a program such as this will help players to better learn and understand the game.
One of the new bugs fixed in the latest edition of the damage sim is that focus is now 100% accurate; did you know a focus bite actually deals 149.3? Kind of extraneous, I know, but now you can really find out how many bites it takes to kill that pesky turret factory that is seiging your hive.

I'm too lazy to look: Did you include the extra armor absorbtion of 2 and 3 hives?
Yes, it was in the last version too.
I hope its not just me... <!--emo&::nerdy::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/nerd.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='nerd.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Some shots do miss, btw. The damage calculator is assuming all shots hit. A lot of shots towards an onos don't, even in larg(er) groups because of those evil FF nanites blocking shots. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
I'm sure you could do tests in-game and get the same results as the damage indicator.. uh, indicates. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
The damage indicator will show you how much health and armor is left after each hit, which can't be determined ingame unless you have several people sitting around on the server, and the person you are killing tells you their stats after each hit. Not very fun.
You're not employees of Microsoft, right? <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Onos Hive 2
Lmg lvl 3
at no carapace it takes 199 bullets
with lvl 3 carapace it takes 198 bullets....
Only if you do carapace first then do normal, do normal twice for real thing.
should be useful for all and useful for newcomers in a way
maybe #NSguides could use it somehow

thats lvl 0 vs lvl 0 and lvl 3 vs lvl 3 you ninny!
woohoo it's been updated!
much <3
And only 85 with a level 3 hmg against a hive 2 onos (in most cases you have this matchup)
I find it amazing how a Onos dies so freakin fast and 1 JP/LA can EASILY kill a hive 2 Onos. Especially with the HMG HUGE high ROF. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Seems a bit over-kill, doesn't it?

It's funny because it take's two to three shot's to kill a Skulk most of the time.

It seems to work fine with Firefox.
And with focus, it does 359.3 or something. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
