Hello i have been playing for a couple days and i still dont know how to do everything like be a commander. Thats not why iam posting, iam posting to see if anyone knows how to raise fps? Most map my fps jumps from 30 to 60 but on others it wont go above 10. I know it has to do with lighting and stuff. So is there some commands that i can turn off bullets and sparks and all the little stuff?
If so please contact me a.s.a.p.

That's because r_viewmodels is a 'locked' command. If you turn it off, it gives you a significant advantage in combat. To see what I mean, play as the skulk. Notice how your 'bite' attack blocks your screen for a second when attacking? Viewmodels command turns the first-person attack models on and off. If you didn't have those teeth in the way, you would be able to see constantly - an advantage the NS team has decided would be a 'hack.'
You should have said this in the first place...
You need to find the card name. You cannot get drivers without it. Look under Device manager (CPannel, System) and see if "Standard VGA Adapter" is listed under VGA adapters. If so, windows has not found any drivers for your card, and is using its own, naff, drivers.
This must be changed, you are locked in 640*480 with 16 bit colour...
Easiest and quickest method to find VGA adapter type:
Shutdown pc
Open case
Find the card. (That's the one in the brown [typically] AGP socket. Only one AGP on the motherboard. It will be between a columin of PCI socketts, [5ish of them, white] and the processor [Er... the one with the biggest fan.])
Take a note of all chip numbers, logos, codes...
Google them.
Obviously, if the fan has "ATi" stamped on it, visiting ATi's website may be a smart idea.
When did you buy this card? If it's really old the company that stocked it may be out of business.
Posting your entire spec would also be helpful too.

I got this computer at christmas and its Emachines i dont know where to post all the stuff u need.
I looked in my computer heres what i could see as numbers and stuff
Fan was AVC, Model C7O1O5T1MY, DC 12V - 0.2A
There was a black square that said Intel on it.
and then a long as little rectange thing it said Korea PC 2700U, M368L3233ETN,
256 MB DDR PC2700 CL2.6
and then a green square looked like a smaller version of the mother board
FC MA560CI, A01-0906JP
Oh and how do i get rid of the teeth ?
Open the start menu, click on run and type dxdiag.
This should open up directx diag box, the first page should list your processer/ram/motherboard model. If you click the display tab it will tell you your GFX card.
Or click the save all button located at the bottom of the page, save the text file somewhere, then copy and paste the results in here.
And we should be able to make some sense of it.

I hope this is what you need. Iam thinking about going out and getting ram or a video card not sure which i will benefit more from.
More RAM is always a good idea, however.
I managed to find this machine which looks like it fits your spec, if so you should have an intel extreme intergrated chipset.
If you look under the display tab on the dxdiag it should say for sure.
Do you know what type of RAM you have (# of pins, etc.)
I do have DDR ram i saw it when i looked inside the case 256MB.
The video card or ram I wouldnt know how to install it either?
Would i order it online or get it at BestBuy ?
But which would make games run faster and better so i can play good games like
Call of Duty and stuff like that and not just Half-Life.
Open up the case and look for a dark brown slot on the MB, it should be quite small and wont be as big as the black Ram slots or the White PCI slots.
Also a celeron CPU is a massive drawback when it comes to games, its a budget CPU as such only has a small cache and doesnt perform aswell as a P4 or Athlon of the same spec.

and i didnt have that many white slots
Thier are a few new things coming out in a few months PCI Express being the big one, it will replace AGP, and is meant to be faster.
So if you are thinking of upgrading you may want to wait.
oh and i did r_drawviewmodel "0" in config along with gl_keeptjunctions "0" and it still goes back.
