I was browsing the web for a track from the original Command & Conquer game, Act on Instinct, when I found this site :

It is the composer Frank Klepacki's website. He has just about every track he has ever done up for a listen at very high quality. If you like the Command & Conquer music, it's all there. Thought I would share this with everyone, the C&C games had some great tracks.

    If you listen to <a href='http://pc.gamingfm.com/listen128' target='_blank'>GamingFM</a>, you hear awesome game music all the time. Command and Conquer is some of the best stuff on there, really.

    Holy crap this brings back memories, I played C&C and Red Alert to death. The C&C series got kinda crazy with the units after that and I lost interest. The music was really good though.

    I'd forgotten how good some of the original C&C music was, why can't developers make music that good these days?

    *grumble grumble sunny D*

    Oh, and if someone finds out a way to download these PLEASE tell me, some of these would be awesome to have playing in the background whilst playing Planetside... I think I just rox0red my box0rs thinking about it.

    Listen to Grinder, Act on instinct and Hell march (1 and 2) and you'll know what I mean. The others are o.k, but those 3 are pure filtered pwnage...

    I'm sure you could just record them with Goldwave. Set it up to record the audio out and you'd get a perfect copy.

    My favorites are Act on Instinct, Full Stop (Called Warfare in C&C), Hell March, Militant Force, and some others I bet. Can't think of the names right off hand.

    Uh if you have the games you can extract the files and play them (They'll be wavs)

    I'm not going to say how but any mod tutorial should tell you.

    Earth and Beyond's music rocked, that was the mainr eason I was so depressed after I learned it was shutting down, that and I had a ton of fun roleplaying a smuggler with my terran.

    Problem with ripping them directly from the games (at least in the case of the older games) is that the game versions are extremely low quality compared to these.

    The music from C&C and RA owned, since it had heaps of guitar and bass (which I happen to like)

    I've converted all of the RA sounds to mp3 - not super high quality but I don't mind because it's awesome music... I should've gotten the music from C&C as well before I moved (and yes, I do have legal copies of those games you juarez-trolls, they're just thousands of km away at my parents house in Australia)

    I've actually lucked out and got the Red Alert and Tiberian Sun soundtrack CD's with the various repackages of the games. Wish I had the original soundtrack, though.

    Most memorable (imho) was "Face the Enemy" , perfectly suits the RA settings...

    And yes it is an MP3 but I lack the ability to host anything larger than 5mb on my webspace. Also I am guessing Shockeh does have some intelligence as far as converting Mp3 to Wav goes.
