they have some commands u can use up there they didnt really help me in my low fps problem but they might help u.
Most likely that is your default refresh rate, download the latest GFX drivers which i think you have go into the advanced options and click on the refresh rate overide page.
Overide the refresh rates, and set them to what you want.
Please note you can also just turn off vsync to fix this problem, but this produces tearing in games and should only be used as a last resort.
it doesnt matter how many turrets or marine/alien buildings with las vegas light there are, i have never had any "fps lag" by that my pc cant handle.
already got the latest drivers , tried both NVlock & nvrefresh , tried to play with older drivers which didnt work either....
my screen can handle as max 1280x1024 60hz -Although- i use 1024x768 85hz in windows and 1024x768 in NS and other games , another weird thing is that i can get 72 fps in UT04
note that wheni play in D3D my fps goes roller coaster between 40-80... only thing left taht i cans ee is turning Vsync off , could you tell me how?
Click on Performance and Quality settings then click on Vertical Sync > Uncheck the "Application Controlled" box and slid over to Off if it isn't there already.
