you know there's a way to destory cheaters.. and that's just to beat them at their own game....
and to do that.. just get a lot better without cheating. *shrug shrug*
i agree that alot of cheaters are just little kids, cuz i cannot fathom as to why a grown person would want to do that. what compels a person to cheat in the first place other than just malice and spite at another person's expense? that's just so immature...
I just think it's a lot more worth while if i can still kill cheaters, sides it's funny.

5 pages of replies within about six and a half hours of its creation. That's some type of record, I believe. Probably not, but meh. Anyhoo, some things to consider: asking people you suspect of cheating if they are indeed cheating isn't the way to go about it. If they are making your existance so unbearably horrible, just spectate them and take some demos and screenshots of suspicious activity and report it to an admin of the server. Leave the discression up to them, no offense. Also, paranoia about cheaters and hackers isn't helpful for your gaming experience. And as long as you're not majoring in human psychology, I wouldn't use it as much of a defense.

I'm one of the players saying "lol" if i get acused of cheating, followed by a msessege why i'm not cheating. By your physic thinking i should be a cheater.
If I'm playing any game and I get accused of cheating, I'm about 50% likely to say "thanks" and 50% likely to say "lol", conditional upon the tone with which the accusation was delievered.
Why? Simply because I find it both amusing and a complement, that they believe that my level of skill is unattainable by human ability.

Only hack I have seen many times is speed hack. Skulks goes like 5 times faster than normal skulk with celerity...
lol is very typical answer for people who are just too good. If u r saying they are cheating, it'll just raise their ego. I have been called cheater few times too in my country server. But not by my "own people" but foreigners who joined the server. Usually every time when some foreigner comes to server and says " Peh is cheating he has wallhack " all people who are from same country as I am, will just laugh out laud. After that they usually say too "lol" or something like that and after that the foreigner says they are cheaters too, which will make everybody to die in laugh... Well usually those foreigners leave after that. There are just people who are good and skilled. These people hear every skulk movement and see through cloak. Because of these abilities they are called cheaters. I usually can see cloak when I know there is one approaching me. The normal 1 hive skulk die in 9 lmg bullets so if one got very good aim he is able to kill 5 skulks with 1 lmg clip ( best I have seen is 4 ) And with pistol skulk dies in 5 bullets so with lvl 0 pistol is able to kill 2 skulks with 1 hive and with no carapase. So its possible to kill total 5+5+2+2+1=15 skulks with 100 lmg ammo and 20 pistol ammo but this is almost impossible ( if u r wondering where that +1 came, it came from lmg bullets... (9*5=45 *2=90 and 100-90 = 10 extra bullets) Skilled players kills skulks which came behind corner quite easily because they only need to hit 9 bullets.
Its hard to know who is really cheating. If some beginner uses some cheats he usually is just as good as the skilled ones.

And i know that it's technicaly possible to kill alot with the lmg and a pistol. But let me discribe the situation i mentioned in the first post. After geting whole team nuked by you-know-who we decided to crush him by attacking from various directions. One attacked from his right one from front and i was sneaking behind him. i started before them, becouse i was slower while sneaking. And that guy didn't bother to look behind him or whatever, just standing there like a tree. So when i was near enough my teammates rushed at him he took out the right guy first, i was still sneaking as he turned around and shot me (i was nearer then the front guy) like he saw me before, which was imposible. He turned around again and landed few pistol bullets into the last one. He didn't move one inch all the time. I don't know but i usually prefer some manoeuvre while shooting 3 skulks...

Wallhacks and Aimbots are very rare these days (NS and CS)
However more poeple have learnt to "fiddle" their rates to give them an advantages, ex_interp aswell, or did they lock that now?

Incidentally, if ever I'm accused of cheating (and I used to be quite a bit, though I doubt it these days) I always answer with 'lol' because it's probably the highest compliment you can get.

I get accused of hacking in nearly every game I play, routinely having scores better then the example you gave, and if someone wants to accuse me of hacking based solely on my score, I will "lol" at them.
Hackusations are just flattery, though an annoying form of flattery. There are people who have played this game for 5-12 hours a day for the past year and a half, and they are that good.
Don't get me wrong, there <i>are</i> hackers out there. If you seriously think someone is hacking, spec him for a few games, view the demos at quarter speed, and if you think without a doubt that he is hacking, inform an admin and present him with the evidence.

Usually every time when some foreigner comes to server and says " Peh is cheating he has wallhack " all people who are from same country as I am, will just laugh out laud. After that they usually say too "lol" or something like that and after that the foreigner says they are cheaters too, which will make everybody to die in laugh... Well usually those foreigners leave after that. (I'm not meaning that all foreigners are so stupid **** as these were)
There are just people who are good and skilled. These people hear every skulk movement and see through cloak. Because of these abilities they are called cheaters. I usually can see cloak when I know there is one approaching me. The normal 1 hive skulk die in 9 lmg bullets so if one got very good aim he is able to kill 5 skulks with 1 lmg clip ( best I have seen is 4 ) And with pistol skulk dies in 5 bullets so with lvl 0 pistol is able to kill 2 skulks with 1 hive and with no carapase.
So its possible to kill total 5+5+2+2+1=15 skulks with 100 lmg ammo and 20 pistol ammo but this is almost impossible ( if u r wondering where that +1 came, it came from lmg bullets... (9*5=45 *2=90 and 100-90 = 10 extra bullets)
Skilled players kills skulks which came behind corner quite easily because they only need to hit 9 bullets.
Its hard to know who is really cheating. If some beginner uses some cheats he usually is just as good as the skilled ones.

I don't know why some pople overhear a skulk movement or can't spot a cloeaked alien... even an onos <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->.... Those are just basics but somehow manny people don't bother.
And i know that it's technicaly possible to kill alot with the lmg and a pistol.
But let me discribe the situation i mentioned in the first post.
After geting whole team nuked by you-know-who we decided to crush him by attacking from various directions. One attacked from his right one from front and i was sneaking behind him. i started before them, becouse i was slower while sneaking. And that guy didn't bother to look behind him or whatever, just standing there like a tree.
So when i was near enough my teammates rushed at him he took out the right guy first, i was still sneaking as he turned around and shot me (i was nearer then the front guy) like he saw me before, which was imposible. He turned around again and landed few pistol bullets into the last one. He didn't move one inch all the time. I don't know but i usually prefer some manoeuvre while shooting 3 skulks...
Anyway I used to get accused of cheating all the time, and usually my response would be "lol".
Wallhacks and Aimbots are very rare these days (NS and CS)
However more poeple have learnt to "fiddle" their rates to give them an advantages, ex_interp aswell, or did they lock that now?

Incidentally, if ever I'm accused of cheating (and I used to be quite a bit, though I doubt it these days) I always answer with 'lol' because it's probably the highest compliment you can get.

I get accused of hacking in nearly every game I play, routinely having scores better then the example you gave, and if someone wants to accuse me of hacking based solely on my score, I will "lol" at them.
Hackusations are just flattery, though an annoying form of flattery. There are people who have played this game for 5-12 hours a day for the past year and a half, and they are that good.
Don't get me wrong, there <i>are</i> hackers out there. If you seriously think someone is hacking, spec him for a few games, view the demos at quarter speed, and if you think without a doubt that he is hacking, inform an admin and present him with the evidence.
