<div class="IPBDescription">Things to hate.</div> Well I just finnished a game and in that game I encountered a marine hacker <!--emo&::asrifle::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='asrifle.gif' /><!--endemo-->
It really really ruined the experience. I am really worried about it, how many of you have encountered hackers, and how often? I really want to get into this game but I don't want to waste my time if it's just going to fill up with hackers like Counter-strike did. I know NS won't be getting VAC support because it's simply too complicated, and I'm not sure if CD is working well, I'm not seeing it alot on Steam. What do you guys think?

I want to test him so I went back to the node, but I didn't want to attack him, I just sat there, yet again he stopped attacking it, and turned the corner to shoot at me, so I ran and he followed. I then turned the corner and climbed up the 4 doorway in the current hallway and waitied on the roof over the door way. He came exactly to my location and as soon as he came under the door I was waiting at, he looked right up at me and shot me.
Note, as soon as he stopped shooting, we we're dead. The exact timing of autoshoot.
Your first statement discredits the second one nicely.
Otherwise, we'll just have to assume he had experience/MT. Hearing range is pretty high, so I doubt 5 of you managed to approach absolutely silently.
thire bullets randomly go in a perfectly straight line towards the target even if teir aim is not perfectly on them, i dunno if this is what u r talking about but i see that often when spectating
PS
HACKERS = n00I3ZoI2Z <!--emo&::nerdy::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/nerd.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='nerd.gif' /><!--endemo-->
seriously... there is no such thing as an aim script...
So he might actually just be that good. Once you learn how to aim with the LMG it's actually pretty easy to drop multiple skulks at long distance. And as for seeing where you were, it was probably motion tracking.

What you're describing is a delay between when the bullet is drawn and when it is actually fired. That is not hacking, and is displayed for ANY marine you spectate while he is shooting.
That pretty much rules out motion tracking. (Comm coulda motion rushed tho)
because he had more kills then deaths of course, anyone who can do that is a hacker
