i went to install ns on my newest steamid but when i go to install it it automaticly starts installing to the wrong account, and there's no options to change the directory... anyone else have this problem? please help if you how to fix this

    that tells how to install ns... not how to fix this problem



    edit: i've tried moving the nsp folder but the shortcut doesn't come up in games... i've tried this way before i posted

    this problem would be fixed if you followed along and read the instructions as given..

    The issue here is that the installer is finding an alternate steam folder, installing there, then when you launch steam the game isn't in that steam dir so steam doesn't load/display the NS game.

    search your hd as thansal details in that other post, removing all other half-life directories. Once you have one half-life directory the installer won't be all confused and get stuff in the wrong directory. I'm guessing you have a half-life\half-life directory that's confusing the installer and causing steam not to find the liblist.game file in the mod directory.

    Follow the instructions to the letter and this problem won't show up.
