the fire works go off!
Only 7 more minetes tell the same horribly done fire work display in Colorado! I can't wait to see the same fire show i saw last year YIPPY!
See ya all after i watch the show and throw up a few times =\
It's all about the Roman candle fights...pfft, you people with your "Make sure you don't aim it at your face, house or anything flammable."
It's a wonder the Chinese didn't turn them into weapons for centuries.
Roman Candles are one of the best cheap up in the air, decent looking fireworks. You can create your own medicore show for around $25 - especially if you buy them after the 4th. Then you get tons of them for $25.
I like to add some whistling bottle rockets with reports for added effect. 2 bottle rockets and a candle, and then 2 candles at once works nice. Of course, I wouldn't mind some of the $200/firework fireworks either...heh.
On another note, the fireworks displays in Wisconsin are usually pretty good. Summerfest in Milwaukee can be good. Tons of people light them off near the water anywhere along the shoreline (sometimes fewere than other years, depending on the wind).
I should probably be outside looking at/lighting some...
<--- Wisconsinite, it only takes me 45-50 min to go to summerfest by car but the shows around my town are good enouf (highschool and various other org's doing shows around the same time).
*I* see the Manhattan fireworks every year, behind the statue of liberty! Some of them looked like supernovas! Some of them even SPELL stuff! </brag>
can't buy fireworks in NJ or NY though except maybe illegally in chinatown...
alright, fireworks!! I still have three fingers left from last year!! - Donut - RVB
I still think that the British fireworks on the 5th november are better. Its darker for one thing. You don't have to wait until 10pm to be able to see anything decent.
Watched the ones in my local town at midnight on the 3rd- they were quite good and only a mile walk to get to
