I'd guess it's somewhere between 4.1 and 4.3, probably 4.2. If it turns out to be 4.2 or 4.3, Omega's drivers might be the easiest way to get the loader to work without manual tweaking.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

No, I'm quite sure it's alot older than that. It's one of those versions which in many instances insisted on using 16-bpp in openGL when they shouldn't, so that AFAIK places it among the early 3.x's .

Hmm, somebody previously reported that same problem with SmartShader... But when I tested it with 4.3, I had no such problems.

I tested it with cat 4.3 and I also get alot of stutter, lag and other things. I'm pretty sure it's only Smartshader not working very good or something like that. My FPS was much higher with the original way of adding glow to HL and it didn't stutter at all. I also tested a similar Smartshader effect that does almost the same thing than the tron.pss and it did lag and stutter like mad with that one too.

I guess we'll have to wait for the devs code this in or until ATI fix Smartshader. btw wouldn't NS look good at the CPL with the Glow mod coded into beta 5 ?? <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo--> <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Wow, this looks really awesome. I would love to see glow added to NS... it's a game that has much to gain from atmospheric effects.

Definitely would be awesome having this with a toggle command.

I think I can say that it doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of making it into B5. It may make it into a version after B5 . . . but you would really have to ask Flayra.
