If the game is hosted your own computer you only need to type in the command in console to change the settings (sv_gravity 100 , will change the gravity etc)

As for a list of commands

    <a href='http://planethalflife.com/commands/commands/index.shtml' target='_blank'>Planet Half-Life has a full command list</a>

NS has some of its own commands like combat

    mp_combattime - In Minutes
    mp_tournamentmode - Turns on/off tourny mode

    Edit:
I forgot to say, if the server isnt hosted on ur computer you need to set an rcon password on the server then before you can use any commands you type
    rcon_password XXXX
once thats done you can use the above commands but just prefix them with rcon
    eg. rcon ns_combattime 24

You can also change setting outside of the game by editting the server config files.
For a DEDICATED server, (one where you do not play on the machiene that runs the game,) the file is SERVER.CFG.
For a NON-DEDICATED server, (one where you, obvisously, play on the server machiene,) the file is LISTENSERVER.CFG

You can also use third party programs (eg, All Seing Eye,) to use the console remotely once RCON is setup.

Check out www.amxmodx.org for the well-used AMX addon, and its plugins.

Is there a way to change the max amount of levels you can recieve on combat maps?

    *bump*

How do you do that? ive seen it done before on servers where you can go above lvl 10, it might be a metamod, and if so, does anyone know where to get it at?

You can't change it, max 10.

Only by installing a plug-in on the server you can get higher levels.
    (I think)
