<div class="IPBDescription">let teh ugliness begin</div> Ok, its quite bit uglier than I envisioned it being, but I'll let yall be the judge, its has 3 alternating barrels, for added barrel venting, in really heated shottie combat, even though technically its not necessary, I thought I could try for something more original that doing another spas or usas or saiga shottie ya know <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo-->

it is still pump action, but now the pump also rotates the whole barrel assmembly on its guide ring, which you will see is tracked onto the pump handle, its kind of a neat concept, not one of my best, but its ok, and it also makes for a mean looking hand cannon, although ugly... and made in milkshape...
anyway, tell me what yall think so far... is it worth continuing to work on?

The only wierd looking parts to me are... well.. everything behind the shell ejection port (I like the barrels) I see that the barrels have been your focus and they look cool, but the stock and whole rear-portion of the gun looks all fat and bulbous... but seems like that could be fixed easy enough <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Since you put it that way, the pump part looks like a water gun pump, may be a model, but looks like id snap...

Well, I really hate it when people only view the last few sshots, you see in the first sshot that ejection port on the right side of the gun? right where it should be? Yeah i like the general principle...but it does need a bit of remodelling to generally make the weapon "flow" a bit more...it looks like sum boxes shoved together...u'r other models looks great (the ones in the converted fa ones thread) but this needs remodelling.
Its a very interesting concept tho...
You shoulda seen that pretty LongColt model in its earliest stages... ew... and that lightsaber looked like a baseball bat mixed with a ... female pleasuring device...

I just need more feedback on what precisely people want to see, so I can fix it, usually in the FA forums all people had was negative feedback, and most of that wasn't even constructive criticism it was just "you suck" or "that's fugging ugly I'd never use it!" you know, that kind of motivation stuff...
Yes so if u want me to be more accurate....
could you add a bump for the grip on the sides, it depends on skinning ability...but i would like to see it modelled in....
also, general rounding on the handle...to make it look like its ergonomically designed.
Hunt round on google for sum pictures of ghost ring sights and whack them on.
also, change the straight cylinders to ones with 18 sides and one section. that way u get the roundess with a less polys.

I amy even have some real creative fun with the barrels since they are rotated... I can see it now.. making the fire animations longer... and addning in a kind of idle animation after the actual firing animation, sync up the first part of the firing animation, then add in some idle time after it, so its still synced but with an added play time if you don't fire again... and I can model on some smoke sprites so the barrel that was just fired and is now rotated could smoke <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
and I bet that kind of neat effect would draw attention away from the **** stock and handle <!--emo&::marine::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/marine.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='marine.gif' /><!--endemo-->

If I feel like wasting polies on the barrels it will be hollowing them out or something...
216 polies vs my current 96 polies... preposturous! That's 2.25 times more!

as you can see I bulked up the pump, lengthened the guide ring, and made a few more improvements, I finally think its starting to shape up, but its not really my opinion that matters, tell me what YOU all think
