And it's an absolutely belting line-up including The Mondays, Nirvana, NWA, Guns 'n' Roses and, er, Vanilla Ice...

Rockstar look set to produce the best game soundtrack ever. Again. Vice City's 80s tunes raised the bar for music licensing in games and the soundtrack to San Andreas looks even better. We assume that the tracks will be organised into radio stations as in the other GTAs, so the listing below should turn out to be just a cross-section of the music on offer.

    Hmm, I thought it was supposed to be early 90s - there are some anomalies there. However, the Poison track is very welcome. The cheese-rock station in Vice City was always fun.

    wow wasnt expectiong massive attack to be on there. for anyone not knowing about massive attack, they did the song "angel" from 5natch. some other good songs by them are teardrop, mezzanine, inertia creeps, better things, and many more.

    All the rap selections, are mostly realistic in that area (SA) and during that time.

    The only bands there I've heard of are Smashing Pumpkins, Guns N Roses, Nirvana, Massive Attack, The Verve, and Radiohead. The only bands there in that list I like are Guns 'n' Roses and Massive Attack.

    Man, I swear, have they PLAYED OUT NIRVANA or what? Especially that specific song- I'm sorry, but "Smells Like Teen Spirit" is played 3000 times a day- and thats NOW. It is progressively worse the farther back you go...man, if they have that on there, I'm never going to that station. ever.
