help me with equipment
OK guys, I'm here writing this post in hopes that you will suggest some paintball equipment to me. I don't need a gun or mask in the immediate future, but I also wanted some other stuff. I already have a woodland camo BDU and a pair of army combat boots. I'm looking at some other stuff right now, and I want your opinions as to what I should get.

Most of these things that I want come from http://www.afmo.com

Baclava Face Mask (For wintertime paintballing)

Woodland Camo Boonie Hat (protection, add to camo uniform)

NOMEX Gloves (Warm, toasty and padded)

As for paintball guns, I'm looking at the Tippmann 98 Custom with a longer barrel upgrade. As for masks, I'm not sure yet.

Any other things that you could suggest would be great.

[EDIT] I know this sounds like I'm gearing up for war,but I guess I just have a thing for military and tactical equipment

if you are hell bent on a Tippman, best suggestion is to get a Flatline Barrel. It puts a nice backspin on the ball giving you a few extra yards range, and it makes it look sorta like a G3. I personally use a Spyder Classic, but from the sounds of it, you want a marker that looks "Militaristic" search for a "Real Action Marker" or a redress kit.

good and cheap? best bei is either a Tippman or a Spyder

Tippman has some serious weight to it, and the spyder is generally lighter.both are good, and it's akin to compairing apples to orangesd, everyone has thier own preferece.

you dont need any of that.
use the money you didnt waste on the wannabe-gear and get a better gun.
all you really need is a mask, long sleeve shirt, and pants if youre up to it.

buy an autococker. Great beginner as stock, most accurate gun, decent rof. Not that expensive, and can be modded to an unbelievable degree. Flatlines arent worth the money if you go tippman, lapco bigshot is your best bet. If you intend to play paintball in the winter the best thing you can do is get a compressed air tank (NOT CO2), and use that. Co2 being naturally cold, combined with cold temperatures, will cause parts in your gun to lock up, malfunction, and generally be no fun. It can also warp the shape of the paintball, especially if you are not using paint specifically designed for use in cold weather ( i believe there is really only one kind, designed by rp scherer.) I play seriously, and a good gun makes a huge difference. If you want more info ill give it, but I dont know how seriously you want to take it.
