    Yep, I usually tell a comm who was new and gave it his all, a "Good Try Comm " after the game or while we are being pummelled into the endgame...

    Encouragement goes a long way..

    an alien team full of stpid players noone dropping resnodes. all go fade and onos to die.
    But marines still need 45 minutes to killthe aliens only hive that is the only place full of ocs, and after THAT you hear "gj commander, gj team"

    That reminds me something. How many commanders give out waypoints to the empty hive drop 2 IPs and maybe an armory or maybe a tf or an ob then give orders to go to other rts get them electrify. Then phase gate researching locking empty hive 1 now lets try for hive 2 locking hive 2 . Upgrading armory getting res. Upgrading weapons 1 and armor 1. Oh no a fade drops shotgun to 3 marines fade = dead. Oh no an onos drops a hmg after upgraded armory dead onos. The aliens always do the same things and so does the marine team and the marines always win some how.

    Also aliens would be something like
    few aliens goes to other hive location and then they all seperate knowing that one marine can easily kill them. Someone goes gorge. Someone complains about no one dropping a dc. Marines already have weapons 1 and armor 1 by now. Somebody goes fade and blinks and get stuck in an army of marines and die. You see a gorge building a few OCs and DCs where the RT near marine start is. Marines now have advance armory and aliens have one hive. Also note that aliens couldn't defend one empty hive location because 5 others were too busy waiting on the ceiling somewhere and maybe occasionly rushing rine start getting killed giving them res until they go fade and onos and get killed.

    After all the stuff your comm has just dropped and electrified in that scenario, you'll be lucky to afford armor 1 and a single shotgun by the time that fade has started ripping through your marines like butter.

    ive found in pubs if you build a random pg almost near a hive or a restower (note the almost-near not near) then all alien lifeforms will be drawn directly towards it like insects to lights, (pgs also emit light... coincidence!?) plonk a few hmgers and/or shotgunners here and youll have total dominance of the map for NO reason <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
