Anyone else read his stories?
Sorry for being a bit random, but I just got reading "In the Penal Colony" along with "before the law" and "an imperial message" and I must say... no other author has EVER blown my mind as such. Even Conrad, after a full month of analysis on Heart of Darkness, doesn't come close.
I dedicate this space to hail the memory of Kafka and his screwed up mind. I will never be as great as him.
(maybe i've had too much caffeine, too)

It was the worst book I've ever read.
(well I don't know the English title but it's something like metamorphosis)...
It's not science fiction, it's surrealism
Yes it was. A fairly good adaption, too.
As for Kafka being something you are forced to read, I actually think i'm gonna have to read more on my own accord after the few assignments i've had

Yeah, right.. that's not really science fiction... I like that too, but... not.... this.... damn... book....
I think it's more of the theme of being different as being worse (even though the only thought in his mind is going to work)

From the half of it I read ( ) it was more about rejection and intolerance/innacceptance.
