I just need help with the armor. The screenshots of the models in the site aren't really helping. Especially the yellow thing in the middle of the chest plate. Is that a flashlight? If so, WTH is a flashlight doing there? And pointed downwards? O_o
Hell, pretty much all of the armor, except for the chest plate is giving me trouble. ^_^ help?

Make it still out a bit, because of bewbs? But yeah, it's a light. What're you using, PhotoShop?
This will let you see a 3-d view of the model in virtually any pose from any angle.
It's rather light.
Personally I think the armor is more geometric and not rounded so much, that's my own interpretation.
Ignore Kida, that is a very good drawing. The blurry paints even make it look better. Plus if you made her more endowed she'd have some sex appeal and become an object instead of a marine.
Oh and I think the flashlight on the chest is sposed to illuminate where the marine is walking. Then again it may be a gimmick, something put on by designers to make it look better. I draw lots of gimmicks and lack any real functionality.
I was torn between functionality and sex appeal. It would be more realistic if the chestplate didn't conform to her breasts, like kevlar vests. It's merely a shell. But then, this is a game that's dominated by guys, and sex sells, or atleast grabs attention. So boobs boobs boobs.

I think a woman marine would be wearing a sports bra of sorts when she's in uniform, so a conforming metal chestplate wouldn't be totally necessary but only for aesthetics and being able to tell between a male and female uniform. :>
Again, look at kevlar vests. Hardly conforming at all, and it has the basic function as the marine's chest plate.
it's a very good drawing, and the armor looks pretty good (ie finished quality) already.
