I call it Stellar Siblings.
Took about 6 and a hlaf hours in photoshop and half my music library.
I messed up on the clouds, it was like 430 Am and I was falling asleep, but it is looks good overall.

Very impressive first glance. ^_^ Please tell me you didn't put all those stars there yourself. x-x

I feel that the yellow planet looks more finished than the Earth because the landmasses on the Earth don't look at all like they're being lit up by the light on the horizon.

And as for the clouds, I think there would be more clouds visible than land mass, and the clouds needn't be so defined. And the atmosphere needs to fade off more into space instead of just being so cut off, imo. It's very shell like.

I actually did do all those stars. Not pixel by pixel, I'd still be doing it.
Creative use of heavily edited nose filters and glow layers. A lens flare or 2 just for good measure.

I can see what you mean about the lighting and atmosphere. Shouldn't be too hard to change, just playing with blending options for the atmosphere.
    Thanks!

Just depth problems that bother the picture. The planet in the foreground seems like it was pasted there. Needs better transition into space.

The ring's not preportioned correctly, and you might want to fix the land and clouds on that planet. Other than that it's good.

impressive though the planet with land and clouds needs to be a little more detailed and fixed to give a more realistic feel. other then that excellent work

i like it. maybe add a mostly transparent white layer of the closer planest so it looks like its no so exposed to space. also, the rings. the top is bigger so it should be closer, but it goes behind the planet. the bottom is smaller and goes in font.. the larger one should be infont and the smaller one behind it. would look not quite so odd.
