Commander View Problem

<div class="IPBDescription">He sees the rooftops</div> In commander view, I only see rooftops. It's very odd, in another map it worked fine, yet in the current map the commander can only see the rooftops, not the actual floor.

The roof is not transparent as it should be.

How do I fix this? Does it matter what texture is being used on the roof?

Yes, I named my map ns_*

How is this solved? :/

Thank you in advance

    ERm... I think you need to have the CC reset to a certain spot whenever you jump in it... but I don't know how

    Silly question --> Did you put a box arround the level? Since this will get the same result.

    Yeah, evil hollowed boxes around level or leaks in the level will prevent the outer hull of your level from being discarded.

    Yes there is a hollowed box around the level... it's the skybox... Do I have to make the ceiling of the skybox "higher"?

    That's how you make skyboxes, no? Make a cube and hollow it? Also... the skybox is like 100 units (very small distance) away from the edges of my structures.

    I will try to translate the skybox to encompass a larger volume to see if it solves it.

    Perhaps another solution is to place the skybox "top".

    (By the way, I don't have leaks in my levels, ever. I'm too meticulous for that stuff)

    The term skybox can be misleading. You actually shouldn't put any kind of box around your map. Sky brushes are what they say they are, brushes. They should be used more like normal brushes and not as a huge hollowed box. This is kind of hard to explain, so I try to make a picture to explain it.

    Do it like this:
    <img src='http://netti.nic.fi/~mastah/temp/yes.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />

    And not like this:
    <img src='http://netti.nic.fi/~mastah/temp/no.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />

    Ah, this helps me too, as the skybox thing had me confused as well

    Glad to see you got it fixed!
