I was just about to post the same thing. Good luck with the fixage, since once you get it working in one browser, the other will hate it.
Edit: The problems are likely in the CSS, not HTML. Yes, there are problems, but browsers are more forgiving than the validator. Cross-browser CSS compatibility (mainly getting IE to WORK with CSS) is the bane of any web designer's existance <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
