    Marines.


    Purely due to how bad games end in NS. With Kharaa, it ain't pretty. With Marines, I feel somewhat honoured to be making a last stand with my fellow LMG toting TSA warriors. Its fun retreating down a corridor pursued by loads of alien lifeforms.

    This may sound crazy, but losing as a Marine is one of my favourite things about NS. Not so much that I would sabotage a game. Not usually.

    Basically always aliens. I find the point/shoot/build/point and shoot again style of marines to get boring fast, regardless of how good I am at it.

    Because I like Marines for the organization and the hierarchy that is inherent to them...

    Maybe I'm just stupid...but doesn't that "New Poll" button RIGHT next to "New Topic" start a new poll, or is it broken?

    Random...the server I play on forces it.

    Edit: Oh, well after trying it it seems only mods can do it...the initial post seemed to indicate that you could not find the button.

    Simply because I like things that go boom boom

    and I come from background where games are weapon oriented.

    But mainly so I can enjoy the high poly models of the weapons, and pretty colors hehe

    Aliens... because I hate the lack of teamwork on pubs for marines. I sometimes play marines if the aliens are stacked.     I must agree with that, we need more shotties dropped.

    HMGs are great for survival, especially if you can't aim. But shotties in the right hands are awesome.

    Simply because I play pub only and aliens is the more difficulty part (due to lack of teamwork).
    Back in 1.4, I preferred marines for the same reason.

    I like challenges.

    I really doubt that many people go random. In pubs the little bit where rines stand to join the game is over crowded the alien one is non-existant untill people realise they're not gonna get a slot in rines, and the random one.... i doubt half of pubbers knew there was a place to stand to go random.
