plz take a look at my work:

i use texlights, env_glow and func_illusionary for a good lamp :>

Actually, for VHE screenshots... it looks pretty nice! I'm interested to see how you light such a complex map... and I'm afraid I prolly won't play it...
if you're hitting on the engine limits.. my poor vid driver probably can't handle it <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> Looks good tho!
but hey, i can still play it with my ati 9600 <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> (well, with a framerate of 85, my monitors maximum...)
I'm waiting for a month to see how these tournaments go.. I should be able to referee enough games to afford a new x800, or at the least a 9800XT
i reworked the whole lights / texlights/ and a few other stuff.. its not a [wip] anymore <!--emo&::nerdy::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/nerd-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='nerd-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
its a finished version which will be tested on sunday on a LAN-party <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
