plz take a look at my work:
im already touching the engine limits (max_patches), but after a few little changes im still able to compile it <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

i use texlights, env_glow and func_illusionary for a good lamp :>

well, its still under construction, and i have to change around almost every light-entity on the map...

    mm... hammer shots...

    Actually, for VHE screenshots... it looks pretty nice! I'm interested to see how you light such a complex map... and I'm afraid I prolly won't play it...

    if you're hitting on the engine limits.. my poor vid driver probably can't handle it <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> Looks good tho!

    well, reaching MAX_PATCHES is a common problem for larger maps with detail...
    but hey, i can still play it with my ati 9600 <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> (well, with a framerate of 85, my monitors maximum...)

    mMM... I have an Intel graphics DRIVER.... so yeah... lol kinda sad


    I'm waiting for a month to see how these tournaments go.. I should be able to referee enough games to afford a new x800, or at the least a 9800XT

    in cargo storage, how come ur lights have no light fixtures? what i mean is u have just got random light in there comeing from no apparent source

    well, i just threw a few lights on the map so i could see if it works because last time i compiled i had max_patches error...
    i reworked the whole lights / texlights/ and a few other stuff.. its not a [wip] anymore <!--emo&::nerdy::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/nerd-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='nerd-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    its a finished version which will be tested on sunday on a LAN-party <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
