Taking a look at server numbers...
Just a quick peek at the # of servers for popular mods tells me that NS is going to getting some press in the very near future. I'm expecting NS will make an appearance in PCGamer reaaaaalll soon...
Counter-Strike: 23950 Servers (yeesh.)
TFC Classic: 1450 Servers
Day of Defeat: 1350 Servers (seems to be down a LOT...I remember seeing like 3000+ servers at once point)
The Specialists: 20 Servers (bummer too, this is a great new mod)
Natural Selection: 440 Servers
CS doesn't really count since it's popularity is a mystery to me (it's fun, but damn...23000 servers!?), but TFC and Day of Defeat are easily the 2nd/3rd most popular mods and NS is getting close to half their server base after being out for like...a week and a half. That's good people.
Oh yeah, on an additional note, go get The Specialists too (www.specialistsmod.net) if you're into fast-paced deathmatch stuff and cool Max Payne-ish acrobatics. It's extremely well made, but it's been kinda ignored since it was released around the same time as NS, and that's a damn shame. I mean, it has bullet-time...how can you hate something that has bullettime!?

I use The All Seeing Eye as my server browser, and it gives fairly accurate reports of server numbers and such.
www.udpsoft.com
The only problem with it is that it's a bit buggy, but it's certainly better than Gamespy...
Cs can die heheeh =) (i would use the wink face but it doesn't look like a wink)
DOD is fun
TFC - haven't played it for a while
The specialist is super fun hehe
FireArms isn't on that list :o hehe
FA = own
NS = the own
NS has servers growing like crazy. Only 3-4 days and already 500+ servers!!!
NICE!
And I hope the NS team doesn't allow Valve or Sierra to buy out this mod. Stay open to other game engines...
OMFG..imagine this game on the UT2k3 engine!
(dreams) lol
