    Only 15000 polies? In 3DSMax I accidentally put a 10 iteration meshsmooth on the Halo grenade and ended up with a LOT of polies. IIRC it was around 4-5 million polies, and needed 26GB of memory to complete (good thing I had a lot of virtual memory). I dunno why I clicked yes in the warning box about the memory, but I did and 10 minutes later, a 4.5 million poly grenade <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    now to be serious for a 12 year olds first model thats pretty good...

    i was proud when i managed to get a box on the screen...

    atleast u can get the jist that thats a car...

    mine was just a bunch of polies... looked like wierd starfish or something...

    its not his first model

    one before this was in fact a shotgun, but i saw it said it was too beefy to be a shotgun and it's now a grenade launcher.

    mind you i did fix it up a bit, it had vert errors and it needed some tweeks, like the hole for the belt fed-ness. Pump action belt fed... makes tons of sense eh? <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> i still havent decided to finish it or not. (2k+ polys due to the insane sided cylinders. lol)
