Flayra has NOT made a decision, and no one likes discussing these matters.
It is not likely NS will be on HL2 since that would mean a complete re-write,
but as I said flayra has not made a decision.
It seems many "1337" forumers hate new forumers posting about this, so just dont.
If you ask, your thread will be locked. If this does not stop the NS admins may just ban people for even mentioning it.

Posting new threads to stop people posting new threads about it isn't going to help, direct them to the already existing FAQ. If they already posted without reading the FAQ, despite it being stickied and saying "Read Before Posting!" in the title, it's unlikely they are going to put any effort into checking whether the topic has previously been discussed before posting a new thread.
I don't know, but it might actually work if you stop trying to act like an admin and suggest that people should be banned for posting about porting NS.
It's not as if you are the admin that clears up all the topics and such. If you see a thread tthat might be a question about porting NS to the Source engine just ignore it and leave the admins to do their work.

Erm, wouldn't that go for all engines (and even more so, since H-L and Source probably got at least a few things in common)?
