<div class="IPBDescription">A website that has a nice guide</div> I was looking for information on the whole freeipod deal going around to find out if it was a scam or not. I came accross this site <span style='color:orange'>link removed</span> which explains how it works and gives links to news sites that say this deal is legit. But not only does this site do that, if you sign up for free ipods from their site, eg. using teh top or middle banner, they will put you in line and once you reach the top of the line they will make teh banners go to your referal site for 2 days. They do it for 2 days so teh line moves quickly. I am current on the banners till sept 2 and only had to wait in line for 3 days. So far I already have 3 people signed up under my name so I highly suggest you go to <span style='color:orange'>link removed</span> and sign up from there!

    sorry to break your dream, but it can say it is legit and still not be, just because of one little line somewhere.

    I don't have a time to point it out to you but free ipods are rare if they exist at all. I think you should forget about it.

    Plus, you shouldn't advertise here, especially for such a link.

    Ive been playing ns since the begining. I use to play on voogrus servers untill king kahuna, the server hoster, decided to be a jerk and wanted to cheat on his servers so vogru pulled his software off his server, and since then i have lost much intrest in ns expecially with steam but i still ocasionally play it. I was just trying to share something with the ns community

    The thing with the scheme is that maybe 5 or so people get Ipods, while the other 100 or so people get royally screwed.

    Hmm...post count of 4, join date of today, and all of your posts are in here. I take it you don't actually have any intention of playing NS or contributing to anything directly related to it. I'll adopt my usual policy of how to handle "free iPod" and similar adspammers; the only difference is that this is the first time I've seen such a person post in General Discussion instead of off-topic.

    But the location doesn't matter. Unsolicited ads like this aren't allowed on the boards wherever you are. Seeing how you have a username a regular NS player may want in the future, I'm going to free it up by unregistering you instead of doing a regular ban.
