Yeah...they could use some typing classes, but it could just be those claws making it hard to type.

in the last MoH's, a .45 slug was like a slap on the wrist.

in this game, will getting shot make your life bar go UP? <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Oh and look, I posted this a long time ago.
    Page 2 ftw.

BTW: This demo sucks. The enemy AI is crap, the friendly AI ain't much better, the only really good thing about this entire shindig is how it is scripted pretty well, though some scenes are longer than they should be and repeat much too often.

And just because, I'm gonna reiterate:

Enemy AI: They will stand in one place for quite a long time, blindly shooting at you. If you are not within a 45 degree radius in front of you(incredibly small fov), they don't see you. When you shoot them, they turn to you, but then TURN BACK TO THE OTHERS even when you're flanking them. When they run out of ammo, they proceed to blindly run at you to try and bayonet/cold stock you, which would have been a intimidating thing if it wasn't for your 75 bullet thompson drum clip, which basically makes it a "Hold down your mouse"-fest.

Friendly AI: Basically just scripted. I'm not kidding. Its not AI. You tell them to advance: They go to the next point. You tell them to fall back, they go to the last point(those points being exactly the same each time). You HAVE to tell them to assemble, they won't get the idea to just follow you(like they should). You HAVE to tell them EVERYTHING, and even then, their pretty worthless in a firefight. I remember my 4 other buddies shooting alongside me at a single Jap, none of them ever hitting him, despite him being out in the open. So I walked up to him and bayonet'd his **** with his best friend's gun.

Repeat Scripting: Plane shooting sequence. Thats all I have to say. Oh, and the broken scripts of if you clear the airfield extra fast.

I usually don't agree with Quaunaut, but this time, he's right on. Pacific Assault is AWFUL.

There's litterally no AI, the Squad control thingie doesn't even work 3 out of 4 times, the game runs poorly, even with my 6800, and the whole level (which I completed in 10 minutes), took more than 2 to load! Not even to mention the fact that it felt very very linear.

    avoid at ALL costs.

Gotta agree here.... waste of disk-space.
(Especially as a 550 meg download.)

I've always looked forward to new Medal Of Honor
releases since playing the original PSX version for
hours on end with friends.... but this.... think i'll
keep my cash and read some reviews from trusted sources.

Why they've used the Havoc engine is beyond me....
I managed to knock over a few barrels and that was pretty much
it. Go download the "Evil Genius" demo or the WoW Open Beta client.
