<div class="IPBDescription">"Fade"</div> I was playing a game of NS and I heard someone using the term "Phase" (not fade). What does it mean?     A fade is <!--emo&::fade::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/fade.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='fade.gif' /><!--endemo--> and it is the more versatile and deadly force for the alien side, it has a human posture so you will know it when you see it.

    Also the name Fade (i think) is based on the Blink ability as it represents what the Fade does in battle, Fade in an out, you see and then you don't.

    each of the alien names is bassed off of a description of them

    1) Skulk = Skulks in the shadows
    2) Gorge = The Fatty (builder class)
    3) Lerk = Lurks around, waiting to the time to strike
    4) Fade = Fades in and out of battles (their original power was a LOS Teleport, that was removed due to stuck issues)
    5) Onos, well that is what you scream when you see one.

    Sorry, i meant "phase". The person was using a microphone, and was hard to hear. I think he said "everyone phase", or "phase now", or something like that. i hear it a lot. The first time I heard it, It sounded like "fade", but he kept repeating and it sounded like phase.

    Basically:

    Use the phase gate. its the big bright thing that bubbles. you will see marines appearing/dissappearing from it.

    Phase Gate (aka PG or phase) is the large disc with the light show coming from it.

    it teleports you to the othe rbuilt phases.

    so phase NOW! = go through the PG, do not pass the armory, do not collect 200 ammo, just friken GO!
