Linux Install

Why isn't there one? Lots of people play Half Life and it's mods on Linux thanks to WINE and its variants. I myself play NS and lots of other HL mods on Linux. The only thing that you would need to do to make a "Linux install" is install natural selection in a clean directory, tar/zip/gunzip it and upload it somewhere.
If the NS people are willing to support this, I'd be glad to provide a mirror for a NS Linux install. Lots of people on linux are having problems running the installer through WINE as it freezes and gives other problems. So, this is justified.
And please no flames about how half life is "Windows only" because there are many Windows games and applications that native Linux users are running on Linux these days.

Mirror this if you like. Hopefully some other people will and we can get this on the front page for other Linux users.
I love Linux, there SHOULD be a Linux NS install.
Can someone give (or link) to step by step instructions to get steam + ns working in linux?
You get the program from
<a href='http://www.transgaming.com' target='_blank'>here</a> (you naturally have to pay the subscription fee first).
It's really easy to install, so I'm not going over that. Besides, they have their own FAQ for that.
To install the "linux install" for natural selection that I provided, you extract the directory into the fake C: drive for steam that cedega creates. It's a hidden folder in your home directory called .point2play. It'll be something along the lines of this: file:/home/user/.point2play/Steam/c_drive/Program Files/Valve/Steam/SteamApps/user/half-life
Just extract the nsp folder to the half-life directory. Start up steam, and it'll show up. You're all set.
I can play any half life mod like this. The only problems with most of them is their lack of a installer that works well with wine/cedega and no actual linux install.
And, if you don't believe me here's a screenshot <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

btw, any glitches, graphical or otherwise when playing ns?

There's a screenshot. As you can see, it looks fine.
Beta 5 install for linux. Just unrar to the proper directory. Same as my above instructions for the last beta.
