Since it looks like hardly anyone ever visits the league section, I'm posting a link to a thread I just started.

Still Looking for staff, site goes live Sunday night or Monday.

No one uses the League room I can tell.

Anyway MLNS site is ready. Clans can start signing up.
We have recruited some staff but are still in Need of more.

It is nice to see comming more and more league hosters.
This is great for clans and players.
But one problem of these hosters is the marketing aspect.

Would all hosters spend also time and money to publish this in other community sites (not ns sites) it would be much better for the hole community and get more new players.

we are also allready finish by structure and releasing our next comming site, cup and league. Release is 11.09.2004

i taked a look to your plan. this was also a trying for 4 months ago from us.
We wanted to take 5 Euro for sign up and the prizes was 1st 16 Slot public server for 6 months - 2nd 12 slot privat for 6 months - 3 th was webserver 1 year. You will see that we was willing to spend more than 150 $.
it doenst go, cause no one wanted to pay. of course i must say one thing, at the time we start that, we got a realy bad site (more terrible than now) and was newbie in the community.

I dont think u get much more luck than we, but i really hope it, because that will give ns some action for the community.

Hi Deeluv,
Im sure you can then understand how frustrating it can be to start a league. But ti can also be rewarding. MLNS isnt getting any interest from clans yet but this could change. We are giving away 2 servers if clans sign up and both a Pro and Advanced ladder forms.

The $150 is $150 more than CAL offers and is just a way to get clans a lil payback for all their practices and time to learn a mod or game. Having clanned for 4 years now I know how much goes into running a clan and as well as playing for one. Clans deserve some payback MLO and MLNS are trying to give back.
So far MLO has paid out over $1,500 to clans. We hit a speed bump when our site crashed and several errors came together at one time but MLO is back and live.

Clans just have to sign up and give MLO a chance and they get a chance to win a server and if they go Pro a chance to win some Ca$h. If NS has a healthy clan community there is plenty of room for many many leagues. My Community is the oldest of all mods and TFC still has 4 Popular North American leagues. Im sure NS now having even more players than TFC can support 5 or 6 leagues.

There is a dedicated forum for just this kind of advertisement.

Lack of *apparent* views is not an excuse to cross-post, advertise, or otherwise clutter the boards with threads in the wrong place. If someone wants to look at your ad, they'll head to the proper forum. Otherwise, you're just annoying those who don't want to see it.
