Gorges Getting Stuck On Things They Build?

Dunno if anyone has posted this yet, but alot of times gorges have been building things such as Defence Towers, they end up getting stuck on them and can't move away. Only thing to do is commit suicide and start again.

Is there anyway to prevent this from happening?

    lol yea,it's funny as, well,those gorge should really have know that they dont have enuff place for that or stand on the resource nozzle and build resource chamber that result in their own self being stuck,serve
    them right ..hehhehehe..love watching gorges being a resource chamber

    Hahaha yeah. I did it once on a resource nozzle by mistake, never again tho, I have learnt.

    Just for some reason the different towers seem to stick a few people, even when they have ample room to build. Ahhhh well. I do find it amusing, just a pain sometimes when you have 70 resources only to have to kill yourself a start again.

    The most annoying thing for me is the newbie gorges that build offence towers on top of resource nodes so that we can't cap it. It'd probably be good if there was a way to destroy stuff as an alien like marines can recycle.

    When I get stuck I bild a Movement Tower and phase myself unstuck.

    I also noticed if your a commander and when a marine walks over a resource fountain, you can still build a resource tower on top of him and he'll get stuck!!! (also it might be a bit annoying if this was fixed to not allow things built on fountains where players were but then that player could be a lamer and just stay there so you cant build anything there If you know what I mean).

    Maybe it's possible to allow the player who built the chamber to also remove it. Well since the game remembers who built the chamber (chamber kills) then this would actuallly be possible. Just my 2 cents.

    This idea would work for marines, probably not aliens:

    When you build a (example) resouce tower there should be a push before it gets built, so anybody stood on the nozzle is pushed out of the way and then the tower is made. This would be the same for all marine buildings.

    They should make it so you can jump out of the buildings... i beleive in other mods you can jump out of other players (if you get stuck at spawn)

    Maybe they should just make it so that you can clip through your team's buildings. It would also help onos to get through heavily towered areas.

    I am a gorge a lot, and while at first I'd have this problem, its really simple to avoid.

    First, there is a circle around the structure you are building, and if you are not in that circle when the structure is finished you are fine.

    To help avoid getting stuck, try this: drop the structure where you want it, and back up. Then, while holding down the use key, creep forward. When you start working on the building, stop moving forward. You are now safe, and still in range to work on the building.

    Anytime you are stuck in NS, either under a structure, in a wall, whatever, just evolve. Get a mutation, or change classes. Never had it fail to get me free. The only time this isn't an option is when you are an onos jumping up to try and get through that barrier some idiot gorge placed across the corridor. Then you are considered 'not on flat ground' and can't evolve. Really, is it that hard to leave a small path through the barrier? The marines _aren't going to try walking through all those off chambers.

    Hmmm.. I've been stuck in buildings before and walls (Never blink into the celing.. not fun.) and evolving doesn't seem to work for me. It won't evolve due to size restrictions and stuff. But if you back up while you click the specific icon on the popup menu to build whatever you're building, you won't get stuck (what Warhound said above.)

    As ONOS, I tried to climb into a big-nuff-looking vent that had a ladder, and ended up above the ceiling, not fun. Couldn't evolve to something smaller, only suicide.
