I had a hard time using a Wacom as well when it first came in....now it's the same as drawing onto a piece of paper. It's just all about hand-eye cooordination <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Gah.. need to get one of those for myself, soon. That or a TabletPC to use as a sketchbook. Best of both worlds, with the Wacom sensitivity, *and* being able to draw right on what you're... well, drawing.
purchased for $99.00 USD + $7.00 for 2 year replacement insurance (i can return it and get a new one without needing a reason)
first drawing was in Photoshop, as i have not explored the other options that i have seen other people use. (painter, open canvas, Etc.)
...the red seats are the most comfy at work...

was gunna be a penguin, but i put the little skull cap on there.... so it was gunna be a lerk, but i put the cooked-chichen wings on there... and then i decided i should make it anything, give it a pot belly, and a glowing blue eye.....
i've decided that i'm devoting 30 minutes a day to wacom... and so far, it's turned out well...

@tofumaster: not until i'm more comfertable with my brushes/drawing... i'm very new to the wacom still (little over a week) and even less explorative with the brushed i've got in photoshop.
