Since Beta5, 95 percent of co games are won by marines, everyone always stacks marines. I would like to see a beta 5a haha <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> with the following changed
Limit the GL for the marines (say 1 per 6 marines, Too many noobs use them)
Fix the wave respawn system (Everyone complains in the NSArmsLab Servers about it, beta4a was better. Vi va la 1.04!

Ive played games where aliens have dominated for 25 minutes (30min timelimit) but most of the higher lifeforms happen by chance to die at the same time and the hive (at 100%) was destroyed within 30 seconds by a single marine rush.
Because jp rushes are far more effective than fade rushes
And because fades are easy targets but jetpacks are impossible to finish off if they have any idea about what they're doing

Web has always been a game ender and the new carapace and redemption make onos a real best.
However, if marines take an early advantage, it can be hard to come back.
Let's say I rush shotgun then jp...I rush to the hive, spawn kill forever till the rest of the HA with gls (nubs <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->), come and finish the job with me.
The only problem is that JPs are too mobile now. You used to have to land for a second to regain fuel and that gave aliens a chance to take them down. Now you have to rely on mid air hits which can become more luck than judgement in a server with lag.

Sure way to win a game if you can get the first 2 levels and your team-mates have a drop of intelligence.
The only fix needed is really 3 required for the GL, and/or binding it to damage 2 as a prereq (effectively making it cost 4 points). The problem arises after all when you have JP/GL spam, and theres not a single spot in the Hiveroom where you're not taking damage.
Or 100% GL FF to the firer and 100% on FF on servers. Whatever. I recently bothered to play a good few large pub games though, and this is really what happens. Take the co_faceoff Hive for example - fill it up with GL spam from 3 people, and 9 people using conventional weaponry, and it becomes nigh impossible to be effective (because only Fades and Oni stay alive at all - Webs, Lerks and Skulks are all either cleared or they flee through the vents into MS).

All you need is webgorge and fairly good focusfade.
You must be confusing the beta4a respawn with Cheesy's respawn system, which was pretty good. Although IMO i think that if the Day of Defeat spawn system were used it would be even better.

There is a certain mentality carried across the vast majority of gamers: no matter what, winning is best. If there is a perceived advantage of marines winning the majority of the time, then they will be stacked. I really have not noticed a significant marine advantage, unless the teams are skill/team stacked...not to say I'm not seeing that happen a lot.
And dont charge at the marines 5 deaths in a row at the beginning of the round and then wander why they have armour level 1, shotguns , and resupply before you even have your first upgrade.

Takin into consideration that 2/3 of the earth is covered by ocean.
I think the idea of Combat games are for aliens to defend and stop people getting Experience for the jetpacks until about 5 minutes from the timelimit.
