That's a death trap for any marine who gets near it. One fade rocket to set them off and KABLOEY!. No more (anything standing close).
as for the mines on floor/ceiling, i havent seen it *shrug*
The landmine - Yeh, the mine goes down but I see no laser <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->
Laser-trip mines
or
Regular pressure mines
For laser-trip, place on ceilings/walls
For pressure mine, floor (or so that the top of the mine is facing upwards)
*if on pressure, your own troops can set them off, use with caution on ff servers*
On rare occasions, skulks can walk right through tripmine beams without setting off the mine. I have a pic on my comp somewhere of me staring directly into 2 mines lasers. They didn't go off until i got off the wall and jumped back and forth across the beams several times (i was clearing them out so an onos could pass)
Well if you are trying to say that it's not stupid and shouldn't be changed. Then you should atleast change it because it lags A LOT.
