Help, Fps Drops On Good Computer

<div class="IPBDescription">H-h-help!</div> I have a pentium 3.6 ghz, 512 ddr ram, Radeon 9800 XT 256 MB, XP (Professional I think) it is a great computer, I lovet... But why the **** do I get FPS drops in NS!? from 100 down to 10-40 and after a while it goes up to 100 again?
Please help me, I'm getting frustrated...

Don't install the special OpenGL driver if you want to play Doom 3 or other new games which use OpenGL just install the normal one.

Install i correctly PRECISLY after the readme?
Uninstall the old drivers before you got omega?
Restart your computer after omega driver were installed?

Place that in your config.cfg, I think those are the right commands but Im not 100% sure.
