Hey I was thinking what are the different level of n00b?
Like newbie or n00b isn't really an insult unless it's to an expert.
So like in order of least worst to most worst. (#1 is least)
1.newbie
2.n00b
3.n00blet
4.n00bizor
5.n00bbat
<!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> ?
And you forgot "nub" in your tower of nubbness. It should at #2 right before noob and right after n00b
Yes, that's my actual contribution.
whoa! That's a fancy one. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
PS: notice me new signature quote (will keep for a week or so)
IE. This game is FUBAR!!!!!! BLEARGH!!!
PS: How many of you have listened to Monty Python's "Analysis of the Word fu.ck in the English Language"? Good stuff. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Ah at last, a perfect definition for what a "flame" in reference to forums means! Thank you camO.o, you are too kind.
I'm terribly sorry I left the invision powerboard's spell check off. Oops. Silly me.

To get back on topic:
What does afk stand for? Everyone knows what it means, but how many know what the acronym is?
t.t
^ away from keyboard... <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
this hardly counts as "gammmmmmmmmming" slang. it's general internet shorthand, and there are FAR more accurate/comprehensive lists than this will ever be.
I fail to see how this really relates to NS. I see more NS-based abbreviations in NS (i.e, rr, tf, rt) than I do these silly internet chatroom ones.
and remember, an acronym is an abbreviation that can be said as a word (RADAR); an abbreviation is the shortening of a word into just the first letter of each word, or a shorter form, and etc. =P
and its stickied...
edit, oh yeah, afk = Away From Keyboard.
meh... Im too old to learn all this stuff...
