all i did was open up that 256 color bmp on the left in halflife logo creator, resized it, then made it into a wad with that.

I don't get what you mean, do you want it to have transparency or something? If you want it to have transparency the black would have to be true blue (i.e 0, 0, 255), if you mean the colors aren't right that's just the gamma at work.

With or without transparency, the last color in the palette has to be pure blue.

Ok, if you really want to make a awsome custom spray, do not use the wizard. It seriously messes things up.

First make sure it is divisible by 16. (the bmp file)
Then make a new .wad file.
Insert it in there.

It will have higher quality

how do i make a wad? and insert it? ive never made a custom spray or anything like that before.

its still about the same image quality. would it be possible for someone else to just do it for me?
heres the picture i would like. it seems to look the best in dimensions of
width=96
heigth=112

it doesnt make sense. its 3 colors, how can i not make a spray of freaking 3 colors.

Try this one. It looks quite like the source color-wise, but of course, the size couldn't be retained, so it might be a little blurry.
