Steam Background Images

<div class="IPBDescription">Hard to resize, any ideas?</div> As you know the menu backgrounds for Steam are different than WON. Theyre made of 12 .tga files each of a certain size. Now. I'm a photoshop noob, and cant figure out how to use most of the tools and im wondering if there is a way to cut the base image up easier. For my last background I used MSPaint and brushes of certain sizes to crop the image up and that was very inefficient. If anyone knows how to easily cut an 800x600 image into specifically sized pieces, that would be great <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' />

There is a program called something like Steam Background w/e, Zyndrome linked to it in some thread. You just load the picture and it does all the work for you \o/.
