Userconfig.cfg Gone

<div class="IPBDescription">no idea what happened</div> ok, i know that it was there a short time ago, but now it's not in the ns directory anymore. where did it go? what do i replace it with? could that be the reason why i cant add a server to my favorites and kep it there?

    First off userconfig has nothing to do with server favourites.

    The only explanation I can think of for it disappearing is that you've just updated to beta 5, and your old userconfig was in the old /nsp folder, not the new /ns one.

    Admins can change your config if a server is running adminmod, however those changes only go on your config.cfg. It's the same as typing "bind mouse1 +attack" in console. If you use a userconfig.cfg file, the only thing that can change that is you going in and editing it.

    ok yeah, i didnt move it over from my nsp folder, but why wont server favorites stick?

    That just may be steam, it's been buggy with the server list lately. A lot of servers won't show up in the list, or will but won't let themselves be added to favorites. Some servers can only be connected to via console.

    the servers that dont show up and the ones that can only be connected to through the console need to be updated
