<div class="IPBDescription">not stupid games preffered</div>My friend got an X-Box and is bringing it over today. What games should we rent besides the obvious Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance & the Splinter Cell demo? Not Halo either, we've played that one.
Alas my friend has incredibly poor taste so I cannot rely on his judgement. He bought the system just to play some stupid football game... ugh.
So, what's good?

but yeah i was looking forward to the robotech one too. sadly, every review slams it, and then when I saw it myself I just said "eww". Alas the legacy of "every robotech game = the suck" remains fulfilled :(
/me lighty beats MonsE around a bit
Psygnosis made Wipeout, not Bullfrog ... although Bullfrog did make a similar game, Hi Octane, which was horrible and is mysteriously missing from the Bullfrog '<a href='http://www.bullfrog.co.uk/uk/html/Frameset_files/games.html' target='_blank'>Games History</a>' page. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
As for X-Box games, TimeSplitters 2 is quite fun in co-op ... Burnout 2 is great a game for a rent too, if it's been released on X-Box yet.
*grins*
Just finished working on Bo2!... but no official xbox or GC release yet.... but we're dead proud of the PS/2 version, well worth a look. I did sound coding again *grins*
oh, and dead to rights is a good game, its very max paneish
also if you like tonyhawk games, go pick up thps4
TimeSplitters 2 Rocks! Awsome coop, awsome death match, need to unlock a lot though for it to be at it's best.
Need for speed Hot Prosuit 2-If you like racing this is it, again though you must unlock stuff for it to be really fun. But the custom sound track ability for the game adds a spark to it.
Toe Jam and Earl3- A classic among classics if you played 1 or 2.
Turok-Though not as good as Timesplitters 2 or Halo still ok.
Gotham Street Racing-2 player?
I think that's about it, I can't think of any more awsome multi games on the console. I own Halo, Timesplitters 2, Need for speed and Shenmue 2 (MUST BUY!) other than that the rest is from what I got when I rented the games, good luck and have fun <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
