A Wheel Of Time Rts

Does one exist, and if not, why not?
With the release of Dawn of War and Battle for Middle Earth, the RTS market certainly has some good fantasy games going. A thought occured to me though as I was re-reading Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series: why hasn't this world been translated into an RTS.
For fans of the series, imagine the possibilities. A whole range of unique factions, each fighting in their own way and with differant weapons and abilities. Shadow armies, filled with Trollocs, Fades, Drakhar and the Forsaken as heros. The Aiel, masters of hand-to-hand combat and camoflague, melting away the flanks of their foes before striking at their heart. The Ever Victorious Armies of the Seanchan, with grolm, tor'rakan and damane, able to call down the One Power in battle whilst striking deep into the rear of their enemies with arial re-inforcements. The mysterious Shara, weilding weaponry and creatures never before seen. The naval forces of the Sea Folk, supreme on the open seas, able to outrun and outmanuvour their landlocked opponants. The armies of the Dragonsworn, ranging from Two Rivers bowmen to Tarian pikemen, to Borderland cavalry and Andoran swordsmen.
If placed into an RTS environment, this could produce tremendously original and fluid gameplay. I'm quite surprised this hasn't been done, if not at least in a mod. Does anyone else think the same way?

And it would bastardize the terrific job that Jordan did, by just turning it into
combat IMO.
It acutally isn't that bad. The Shadar Logoth level made me need clean ponce in some places. I never actually finished the game - I might have to sometime.
Still, it would be awsome if someone could get it working.
