Opinions?
I'm currently running a 12 player server (It was 14, but that was a bit to hectic for me while everyone was/is still learning ) that gets quite a bit of traffic. I've seen my fair share of morons ("Give me HMG now!" .. "We only have seven resource points.." .. "Well then give me a heavy armor then"), I've been kicked from the commander chair a few times now (I run the server, "auth" myself, and it doesn't protect me? )
I was thinking of converting my server (currently a pub) into a "Private Pub." It'd be rather easy to set up a list of allowed WON IDs and throw a password on it to keep the general noobs out. This would be taking the approach of "including the good players" as opposed to "excluding the bad players." It would ensure that every person playing had a clue and knew how to work together. If a moron somehow go through and was in-game, it'd be pretty obvious and I'm sure the players would complain to the admin (myself, in this case.) There would be no worrying about "team llamas" voting commanders out, wasting resources, hindering their own team, etc. Gameplay would be above par.
Opinions, comments, suggestions?

(I'm not a llama, don't ever play marine unless I am needed. So won't have to worry about the constant shouts at commander, hehe.)
Where do I sign?
See my other idea in this thread: http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/in...=ST&f=8&t=10520
It is more of an admin option, but still another idea. Which would you perfer? (Please don't post in the other thread unless you frequent the server ops forums. Keep your replies comparing the two here )
In a mod like this the team really really means a lot, so having a server where you could allways find people who are into teamwork and know what the game is about would be great.
Is it an EU or US server?
With that in mind, I have a channel specifically for my server. Please don't bother coming if you don't need to be there.
Hop by #wirelords and pm me about this thread. I'll add you to a list of people to contact when everything is ready to go.
