It may work with skulks and leap, but leap does so little damage that it's hard to get a kill with it anyway. Elevator/door kills as commander on fades/onos/lerks are satisfying, as are environmental kills (I've seen a fade killed with env_explosion on both bast and tanith).
When the marines were dying we would often leap them to death, which was pretty funny actually.
Ahem.
Anyhow, cool marines kills are knifing a fade, welding an Onos, plugging a leaping skulk with a shotgun shell to the face, and knifing a lerk on his brief pass.
Marines: With your last bullet in pistol you kill fade which almost got trought in siegemap. ^_^ Any grenade kill. Knifing onos using this new knockback system. ^_^
Aliens: Leap kills owns. One gorge owning three marines using only one dc. (with no help) Xeno 6 or more marines at the same time. This always gives me the pleasure.
I got a midair parasite kill vs a JPer the other day. The JPer was fighting a Lerk, and when he realized he was loosing he tried to run (er, fly) away. I quickly switched to parasite and fired one, thinking that even if the JPer gets away heals reloads and comes back, we'd at least see him coming. Next thing I know he just drops dead in mid flight. I look over, and sure enough: parasite kill. Everyone had a pretty good laugh over that
knife kills on high-mobility units, e.g. fade and lerk. those are incredibly leet. knifing onos is also good, but easier than fade or lerk, and skulks are a lot easier to knife.
Lerks are easy to knife, the slashes just seem to catch on in the flyby and the knockback makes them immobile for a split second. Still pretty funny when it happens.
The best type of kills are the entirely random ones though, that happen due to sheer entropy - like an odd spitball hitting a mine, which blows up a hurt Fade flying by. Or any env_ effect catching someone off-gaurd, or redemption-pitkills by pure luck.
I find kills in clutch situations to be the most impressive.
Saving pgs, rts, hives or anything else of strategic importance. I think that is what defines the truly good player, the knowledge of where the enemy will be and the fps skill to remove him from that area.
although common knife kills are still extrodinarily embarrasing and so must deserve a mention. i dont think im the only one screaming "NOOOOOOOOOOO" as you get knifedzor.
any kill that makes you think hell freaking yes is awesome. my personal faves are based on situations, fighting off 3 skulks with lmg pistol and knife is awesome. killing a room full of marines with bite shouldnt be dismissed. but if we are going for rarity : gotta be the leap kills :-) i remember back when i was new to ns, i got a leap kill as one of my first, and i had no idea of the rarity. raw talent, that is.
killing an onos cos it got too close to the pg and you phased in at the right time
btw if you on cheats, become and onos with charge, and use the give command to give weapons etc metabolize you can still do the charge bug with your these weapons

I don't think it's possible to get more than that. Multikills of oneshot are freakishly rare to the point that they are a once in a game's life event as it is, and simply that the shotgun is not of a wide enough cone to fit many more.
the shotgun sprays 10 pellets. if they are all low enough hp, and you sir are a jammy basatrd, then yes, it is possible to kill 10 skulks with 1 single shotgun shell.
pressing the door on a fade on ns_nancy as commander for the win.
I've always though and will always believe that the best type of kills, are when 1 guy is being rushed by 3-4 aliens (skulks) bhopping towards him, and you just see him pick off one after another while evading the other skulks, and then pistoling. I always loved watching those
The door outside ns_nancy Marine Start (leading to the nearest resource node to the base, I forgot the name...) which requires you to hit a switch to open. Marines were losing the game anyhow, so I made it my mission to make it to this one point and try to trap any fleeing Aliens. I jam over to the door, hit the switch just as I got there, and nailed a Fade trying to Blink through the doorway.
